Jim Cramer Trust Buys Intel Shares Amid Ireland Investment

BusinessJim Cramer Trust Buys Intel Shares Amid Ireland Investment

The charitable trust associated with CNBC’s Jim Cramer announced on Monday, July 13, 2026, its plan to purchase 100 additional shares of Intel Corp. (INTC). The transaction was detailed in a notice to the CNBC Investing Club, coinciding with a separate announcement from Intel regarding a multi-billion dollar investment in its Ireland manufacturing facility.

According to the trade alert authored by Jeff Marks for the Investing Club, the trust intended to acquire the shares at approximately $106 each. This purchase would increase its total holdings to 1,000 shares of Intel, raising the stock’s weighting in the trust’s portfolio to about 2.75% from a previous 2.5%. The notice stated the trade would be executed shortly after the market opened.

The announcement of the stock purchase came on the same day Intel disclosed plans to invest approximately $5.7 billion in its plant located in Ireland. In a company statement, Intel said the investment is designated for expanding production capacity for its Xeon server processors and other products.

The Investing Club’s alert noted the context of the broader semiconductor market, referencing recent financial disclosures from other industry firms. Earlier on Monday, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported its sales figures for June, which showed a year-over-year increase of approximately 68%.

The notice also mentioned an existing multiyear collaboration between Intel and Alphabet, which was first announced in April. According to reports from that time, the partnership involves the use of Intel Xeon processors in Google Cloud services and the co-development of custom infrastructure processing units (IPUs) for artificial intelligence systems.

The CNBC Investing Club is a subscription service that provides members with trade alerts and market commentary related to the portfolio of the charitable trust. Disclosures state that a waiting period is observed after an alert is issued before a trade is executed for the trust’s portfolio.
